LEGO Build with Chrome - This site works on the Google Chrome browser and is a great site for building virtual 3-D lego designs. (submitted by Mrs. Tisdell)
SCRATCH - from mit.edu - This online site teaches students how to program using SCRATCH. There's tutorials and interactive projects that other students have created. Students can create an account and be able to save their work or they can use the site anonymously and be able to create (but not save) projects. (submitted by Mrs. Tisdell)
TYNKER - This is another wonderful programming site for students. It introduces coding through drag and drop visual programming. At every level there's an introductory free online course that students can use. There's also bundles of online courses that can be purchased.
CODE.ORG - This is a great site for students to freely use as they practice drag and drop programming. There are courses at various levels for students to use.

PBS Kids.org - Design Squad Nation - Design Squad is an excellent resource for STEM and STEAM activities to do at home with your child. Our Kindergarten classroom loves watching the neat experiments and inventions created by the Design Squad. The level of difficulty ranges from Easy to Difficult and many of the supplies are everyday items in your home. What a great way to get your child interested in science and engineering! Lawrence Hall of Science 24/7 - This is a great site for kids of all ages to explore. There's a wide collection of activities (CitizenScience, Afterschool KidScience, Check out Science, Explore Your World, and Roadside Heritage and lots of games and activities) that students will love!
BrainPop - We have a school subscription to BrainPop (and BrainPopJr. for the little ones) so you'll need a username and password to access the site. At BrainPop you'll find animations, quizzes, and activities on a wide variety of topics. Check it out. It's a wonderful resource.
NASA Kids' Club - For kids (and adults) of all ages. The site contains information and activities directly from NASA.
Scholastic Study Jams - StudyJams offers hundreds of multi-media lessons and activities on a wide variety of math and science topics.
